Ms. RavenStem offers private lessons at all ages and levels, from beginners to seasoned performers preparing for auditions. Her focus is on the individual goals of the student, and each lesson and materials are customized to reaching the goals in mind.  With 25+ years of teaching experience, she continues to educate herself on new techniques, teaching methods and advanced equipment to assist in providing a positive learning environment.

Ms. RavenStem’s students have found many successes throughout their musical journeys.  Her students have won top placements in Indiana All-State Honor Band and Orchestra, Evansville Youth Symphony and Minnesota Youth Symphonies.  They have performed with the High School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall in New York City, US Army All-American Marching Band, Macy’s Great American Marching Band, as well as holding top positions in their school ensembles.  Students have performed at Solo and Ensemble Contest at both the district and state levels and have won Distinguished and Gold Ratings.  Prior students are now band directors, elementary music teachers, performers, music therapists, jazz musicians, the staff of national orchestras, Fulbright Scholars.
